We grow better, when we grow together.
It all began with an idea.
We wanted to sustainably grow flowers during the pandemic, to help spread joy when people in our community needed it most. So, we got to planning what has now become Woodside. We started from humble beginnings with just two plants that we purchased from our local nursery.
From those two plants,
Woodside was born.
What do We do when we want to start farming flowers,
but, don’t have a farm?
We roll up our sleeves and get to work. We have never shied away from hard work, but building a flower business from nothing has brought its challenges. Every day we are met with problems we’ve never had to overcome before. That’s the beauty of it all, meeting each day fresh and ready to face whatever obstacles may come our way. We grew up on the Maine state motto,
“The way life should be.”
We strive to build that life every day.
We call it:
The Woodside way.
Just like our small family-run business, we’ve grown from the ground up, literally. With our hands in the dirt and our hearts full of hope, we plant, grow, and harvest fresh cut flowers year round for our community on the Seacoast of New England.
